RIDE THE BEAN

Motorbikes, coffee and adventure

Why do I travel on a motorbike ?

Embrace uncertainty, be curious, get out of your bubble, and discover the world.

My name is Kenneth, and Ride the bean is my philosophy.

I believe that life is too short to take everything so seriously. Through facing challenges and pushing my own personal boundaries I’ve learned that the less I worry about, the better I feel.

You might die tomorrow, so try to learn and discover something today.

For me, traveling is the best way to stop worrying.

Beautiful sceneries and challenging roads are a good enough reason to travel in themselves,

but to me, traveling is also about experiencing destinations in a more personal way and making real connections with the people I meet along the road and places I go.

By traveling on a motorcycle I move slowly, and I get to experiences the places I go in a more immersive way. I feel the rain and the cold, I feel the sun in my face, I smell the forests around me, and when I stop, people always come up to me to ask where I’m heading.

The motorcycle also allows me to get to places I would never have been able to see otherwise and in addition to having fun on the road I get to immerse myself in the history and the cultures of the places I visit.

Motorcycling travel can be a solitary experience an one faces many challenges alone, but what I’ve learned through working in the coffee business for over a decade is that as if you share a coffee with people you get to know them a lot better and a lot faster than without. So I always bring coffee with me and am ready to sit down and have a chat at any time.

Listening to peoples stories and challenges in life helps me put my own life and my own struggles into perspective. By staying curious and asking questions you will learn things that you’d never imagine.

So Say yes to ay opportunity, and see what happens. It might surprise you.
