He´s currently working for Dromedar (eng. Dromedary) the coffee shop chain that led the way for specialty coffee in our home town Trondheim, Norway. He used to work with Kenneth at Jacobsen og Svart. When asked, Kenneth described him as a coffee potato - he does everything. That includes barista shifts, events, courses, roasting, even competing. He won first place at the Norwegian Barista Championship that took place in Trondheim Coffee Festival back in February (we made a video on that!).
He greeted us in one of the Dromedar shops, and served us an espresso with the beans he had used in the World Barista Championship (WBC) in Boston this April. It had notes of marzipan, orange, and chocolate. Delicious! Not that we were surprised - Adrian knows what he´s doing.
He also shared with us some of his thoughts on where this urgency that drives him forward, stems from. His energy and passion inspire us, and we´re even more inspired now that we know what fuels that passion.
